Lightning Bolt were awesome on both occasions I saw them, but you had to get there early. Pontins meathead security would only let the first 500 people into the downstairs bit. That meant that there was room for everyone to sit down, so that everyone could see. Nice in theory (sitting I mean, not the policy of limiting entrance), but of course there�s always a couple of dick-heads (see below; short-stop beardy twat from the band Triangle - who sucked) who spoil it for everyone. On the Saturday night the crowd stayed seated for nearly a whole song! (which sounded great without the wall of bodies; to come later) before everyone stood up to get a better view, but then actually saw less, or nothing. The amp blew after 3(?) songs, and that was it. On the Sunday morning everyone stood up when the lights were dimmed. Oh well, luckily I got a few glimpses of the Brians from where I was, and could hear pretty well.
